As we experience the impacts of climate change here in the Western Isles, sustainable local food and drink production is more important than ever in ensuring food resilience across our islands.
Join us for this free webinar to hear directly from food and drink producers from across the Outer Hebrides as they share their journeys towards making their business become more climate-friendly and sustainable, from reducing waste and cutting carbon to transforming how they grow, make and distribute their products.
You’ll gain insight into how supporting local, sustainable businesses supports our local economy, reduces emissions, and strengthens our local food system, and you might even pick up some practical tips to use at home, too!
Speakers include Hebridean Charcuterie, MustHeb artisan mustard, Tagsa Uibhist Community Gardens, and North Uist Distillery. There will be a facilitated Q&A following the speakers, giving you the chance to ask any questions and to share any challenges or opportunities you have experienced.
